Each term, Boston University Study Abroad offers a limited number of scholarships and grants to eligible students to help defray the cost of the program. These scholarships and grants are awarded based on financial need, academic merit, or both. Awards are made based on need and/or merit and typically range from $500 to $3,000. Boston University students may submit applications for the Summer term only. The Boston University Office of Financial Assistance awards Boston University students’ financial assistance during the Fall and Spring terms. To be awarded a grant or scholarship, you must be admitted into a Boston University Study Abroad program. You may, however, begin the grant/scholarship application process while your Study Abroad application is under review.
