Thang Ly (He/Him/His)

Paris Summer IR Internship, Shanghai Summer NGO Internship

Pro-Tip: I highly recommend to pack less clothes so that you can shop/thrift your outfits there; watch movies/shows/listen to music of that country’s language/culture to get into the right headspace; and make a small list at the start (that gradually grows during the trip)of things you want to do during your trip :D

#1 Recommendation: For Paris: Take time to explore and live out Montmartre as it’s the art district with the best overview of the city! Also take advantage of Erasmus Place, which plans out trips for students for a very inexpensive price (weekend getaways, day trips, etc…). For Shanghai: Eat as much as you can for cheap and shop on Taobao (Chinese Amazon at a lesser price)!! It is so easy to be a consumer in China.
