Curriculum
Students participating in the Singapore Management University Exchange are able to select courses from the SMU undergraduate programs/schools of Accountancy, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Law, and Social Sciences. Accounting, Finance, and Marketing are but a few of the opportunities that are available in addition to opportunities to study social science and humanities. With the exception of language courses, all courses are taught in English. Students are advised to review the Singapore Management University’s Academic Information for exchange students for detailed information on courses. The SMU Course Catalog by term is available on their website.
Courses completed at Singapore Management University by BU students as part of this exchange will be counted as BU courses and applied to the student’s degree requirements as determined in consultation with each student’s academic advisor or the advising staff of the student’s college or school.
Academic culture may be very different at a partner institution; SMU provides a rigorous academic experience to both local and visiting students, and you will be subject to their academic policies and procedures during your time at this institution.
