Application Updates

Summer 2026 applications open on December 1st, and Fall 2026 applications open on December 15^th.

Now is a great time to prepare your application:

• Check out our admissions calendar. We recommend that students apply as early as possible, as some programs have limited capacity and may fill quickly.
• Read through the application instructions, and talk with your academic advisor about your plans. You will need to ask them to complete a Study Abroad advisor form.
• Start thinking about finances for your Study Abroad experience: review the estimated budget sheet on your program’s BU Study Abroad webpage, as well as our Financial Aid webpage, and talk with your office of financial aid and with your support network.
• Check the validity of your passport: passports must generally be valid 6 months AFTER the program ends. If you don’t have a U.S. passport please click here, to learn about how to apply for one.
