Justin Breton (CGS’08, COM’10) remembers the excitement of being accepted to Boston University. He also recalls the doubt, after looking at his financial aid package, that he could afford it. The inventive public relations major ultimately prevailed, with help from eBay, where he sold opportunities to invest in his future. In two weeks, he raised $2,000.
“Four years later, here I am graduating,” says Breton. “And hopefully all the people who helped me can say that this is a really great investment for them.”
