May 8, 2008 Sensor Network Consortium Meeting

The spring meeting of the SNC was a great success, with over 60 attendees from industry and academia joining to discuss research challenges in the areas of sensor networks and wireless networks.

At this event, CISE announced a new initiative, the CISE Research Council, an opportunity for industry to leverage extensive research funding from the government and have a voice in research directions. CISE, an interdisciplinary center at Boston University, is a collaboration among faculty from the College of Engineering, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Management.
