This workshop will bring together 150+ leaders from industry, academia, and the venture capital community to highlight the state-of-the-art in sensor network technology, present recent success stories and explore emerging applications.

Sensor networks’ burgeoning industry stem from the convergence of technologies in communications and computing combined with innovative application of these technologies to pursue strategic business opportunities.

The SNC is an initiative at Boston University to foster research, development and commercialization in sensor networks by facilitating the interaction among academia and industry participants. In addition to Boston University faculty, current academic affiliates include Harvard University, Yale University and UMASS Amherst.
