Description |
"Healthier: Fifty Thoughts on the Foundations of Population Health" is a collection of essays on the social, economic, and cultural forces that shape population health. The book builds off of two years of contributions to SPH Dean’s Notes. The voices of SPH students, faculty, staff, and alumni all informed Healthier’s perspective on a range of important public health topics, including climate change, inequality, racism, and the health of LGBT populations. Join Dean Sandro Galea and collaborators on September 25 for a book talk at Barnes and Noble at BU to continue the discussion on how we can improve health by promoting justice and improving the social, economic, and environmental determinants of wellbeing. Healthier was published by Oxford University Press in July 2017. |
