As a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Week, the Queer Activist Collective will be sponsoring a panel to discuss sexual violence in the queer community. The panel will focus on topics related specifically to gender and sexual minorities, and how it affects those who identify as LGBTQIA. Since conversations about sexual assault often revolve around hetero-normative language and stereotypes, this event will create a space for voices that are not always heard.
