"The Sporkful" Live: Anything's Pastable
Join us for a live taping of “The Sporkful,” the James Beard and Webby Award-winning podcast hosted by Dan Pashman. Each week the show uses humor and humanity to approach food from many angles, including identity, culture, science, history, economics, and lengthy debates on the best way to layer a PB&J. Pashman will be joined by Dan Souza, editor-in-chief of Cook’s Illustrated and cast member of “America's Test Kitchen,” for a conversation celebrating of Pashman's first cookbook, “Anything's Pastable: 81 Inventive Pasta Recipes For Saucy People. The book was inspired by his invention of cascatelli, a new pasta shape that Time Magazine named one of the best inventions of the year. Pashman told the story of his three-year quest to create it in a series of episodes called Mission: ImPASTAble. Copies of the cookbook will be available for purchase from our bookstore partner Brookline Booksmith and Pashman will sign after the show.
