Modern Philhellenism
This exciting event will consist of a pair of lectures on the ancient world as it plays out in Greece today. Professor Michalis Psalidopoulos, Tufts University Holder of Constantine G. Karamanlis Chair in Hellenic and European Studies, will be lecturing on “Lessons from financial flows to modern Greece,” and Professor Loren J. Samons II, Boston University Professor of Classical Studies and NEH Distinguished Teaching Professor, will be delivering a lecture on “Forgotten lessons from ancient Greece.” A reception will follow. We hope to see you there!
