Academic Stress and Success: Documentary Screening of Race to Nowhere
Race to Nowhere: The Dark Side of America’s Achievement Culture examines the high stakes, high pressure environment of the current education system by interviewing parents, students and teachers about their experiences with standardized testing, college admissions and expectations of high achievement. Film will be followed by a presentation on mental health led by Student Health Ambassadors and FREE Stress Kits, courtesy of Student Health Services’ Wellness and Health Education, will be provided.
