Friends Speaker Series - Nelson DeMille
The Friends of the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University will host celebrated author Nelson DeMille for a reception, book signing and talk on Thursday, November 8th at 6:00 PM in Metcalf Hall. Mr. DeMille will reflect on his work and career. An exhibition of Mr. DeMille’s archive will be on display. Nelson DeMille is the author of: By the Rivers of Babylon, Cathedral, The Talbot Odyssey, Word of Honor, The Charm School, The Gold Coast, The General's Daughter, Spencerville, Plum Island, The Lion's Game, Up Country, Night Fall, Wild Fire, The Gate House and The Lion. He is a member of The Authors Guild, the Mystery Writers of America, and American Mensa. His latest book, The Panther (October, 2012) features Anti-Terrorist Task Force agent John Corey tracking down one of the masterminds behind the USS Cole bombing: a high-ranking Al Qaeda operative known as “The Panther” in Yemen.
