Writing Program News

The first issue of Writer’s Bloc is coming out in late April! Submissions for the first issue are no longer being accepted. If you have news, hold onto it until Fall 2025. 

Here is a centralized place to submit any news that you would like to share with your peers in the Writing Program Newsletter. We will be accepting submissions through April 18.

You could share news about any of the following topics: awards, publications, announcements; teaching tools; student accomplishments; professional development opportunities; upcoming WP-sponsored events; personal milestones; readings or other performances; non-WP related events; other news.

If you would like to submit a colleague appreciation piece for the “In my corner” column, write “In my corner” in the subject line.

If you would like to participate in the Colleagues in Conversation column, please indicate which of your colleagues you would be interested in having a conversation with and on what topic. Someone from the Communications Committee will follow up with you to schedule that.
