A Performance by Autumn Knight
RSVP here
Please join the African American and Black Diaspora Studies program as we welcome performance artist Autumn Knight on April 9 at 6:00 in the Howard Thurman Center for her performance: “Nothing #35″
The lecture/performance will build on Knight’s extended exploration of attention economies and “dolce far niente” (sweetness of doing nothing). This iteration intends to open up a site-specific conversation around academic institutions as a fertile site for nothing doing, an especially provocative proposition in our current climate.
AABDS will also be hosting a Meet & Greet with Autumn on April 8th at 5:30 at 138 Mountfort St.
Cosponsored by: BUCH, American Studies, WGS, History of Art and Architecture, College of Fine Arts
