Feeling Sick: The Early Years of AIDS in Spain
Prof. Dean Allbritton will present his new book Feeling Sick (Liverpool UP, 2023), which narrates a cultural history of the early years of the HIV/AIDS crisis in Spain as it has been told by television and print media, fiction film, ephemeral products of visual culture, and the so-called risk groups that lived through the epidemic.
