Turnaround Time

This will vary depending on the number and type of samples. For preloaded samples in 96 well trays, turnaround time is generally 8-9 weeks. For ground material, or samples that need processing beyond packing into tin capsules, the time for less than 150 samples is 13-14 weeks. For more than 150 samples, please contact the laboratory manager, since more time will be needed. Special arrangements can be made for small batches of rush samples.

Water samples for oxygen and deuterium isotopes generally are completed in 7-8 weeks. Depending on the number of samples (less than 50), most water sample sets can be completed in that time frame. DIN samples take longer, due to the sample preparation involved and generally take 14 weeks.

Payment is due after analysis of samples and receipt of data. A purchase order is preferred. If it is not possible to provide a PO number, please contact the lab manager to arrange for an alternative method of payment.
