  • 11 am - 4 pm - Poster session is open to the public

    • 11 am - 1 pm - Judges meet with students in clusters 1-6

      2. Micro and Nano Systems
      3. Photonic and Imaging Systems
      4. Computer Systems and Networking
      5. Mathematics, Processing, and Algorithms
      6. Planetary Science, Space Science, and Astrophysics

      1 - 3 pm - Judges meet with students in clusters 7-12
      7. Geography, Ecosystems, Earth Sciences
      8. Cellular and Sub-Cellular Level Phenomena
      9. Biological Systems and Fundamentals
      10. Health Care, Behaviorial, Health-Related, and Public Health Research
      11. Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology

  • 3 pm - Judges meet
  • 4 p.m. - Awards Ceremony and Reception

Please remember, posters must be mounted by 11 am to allow sufficient time for the judges to see all the posters.

Be sure to mount your poster on the board with your assigned number. The numbers this year will not be sequential. Look for your cluster and find your number within that cluster.

The surface area is approximately 4' x 6'. The top section should include your title, and name(s) of author(s). Prepare and bring all illustrations. These may include figures, tables, schemes, equations, photos, etc. (see below for a suggested layout.)

Remember that text and figures need to be clear and bold enough to be read easily. Simple use of color can effectively add emphasis. You might find it useful to have paper and pen on hand to use in further explaining your work.

Your materials can be mounted on the board with velcro (sticky-backed velcro attached to the back of your poster will stick directly to the board's surface), pushpins or thumbtacks. Please do not use tape or write or draw directly on the board. Bring your own velcro, pushpins, or tacks.
