Adriana Legro

Adriana Legro was the kindest person you could ever hope to meet. She was strong and determined but never let these facets of her personality overshadow the innate sweetness of her soul.

Adriana Legro was a close, trusted friend of mine and I will miss her so very much. Her inner strength and determination were just some of her outstanding qualities. Her sense of humor, her brilliance and beauty will always be in my heart and mind. Adriana lived life to the fullest, embraced her family and loved without conditions. I will miss her deeply.

I was lucky enough to be Adriana Legro's roommate during my first year of law school at BU. She became a very close friend whom I loved very much. She was a remarkable person. I carry with me all of the memories I have with her -- and I will always cherish them. Adriana seized the day. She was not one to sit around and complain about life. She traveled and tried new food and met new people. I feel her presence now encouraging me to do the same. Words cannot adequately describe Adriana, but this picture of her begins to depict who she was -- her smile, her warmth and her beauty. She was also surrounded by a close family whom she loved and who loved and supported her. It was my privilege that I got to know them while living with her. My prayers are with them.

Adriana was a part of my family. She is my role model. Aydee was so brilliant, smart, and loving. She was the first person to introduce me to Boston and SMG. Aydee touched all our lives in a very special way. She will never be forgotten. Aydee was the type of person who brought a smile to everyone. She truly is my role model who I will always love and respect very much. I miss her truly. Yvonne SMG MBA' 02

I did not know Adriana, but chose her name out those listed at ground zero. I decided to commit her name to my memory for all time, both as a means of carrying her name into the future and as a constant reminder of how blessed we all are. From what I gather, Adriana was a wonderful person, a good friend, and a beautiful soul. In memory of her and others who were taken from us that day, I will strive to be nothing less. -PRG Monterey, CA

I went to High School with Adriana and she was a dear friend. She always called me "Platano" which is a Dominican dish that she loved. I am so thankful that I met and shared 4 wonderful years with Adriana. She was able to share my sweet "16" with me and wrote such wonderful things in my yearbook. I just finished sharing those wonderful memories with my children. She always told me how much I made her laugh and I am thankful for that. I remember always calling her smarty pants, but I secretly admired her. She was beautiful, determined and a great friend. I was absolutely devasted when I learned you were never seen again after 9/11. I know you are smiling down at us as you always had a smile on your face. I am just sorry I never told you all these things. If I had the chance I would tell you how blessed I was to have known you and how much I really loved you. Rest in peace lovely Adriana - Love always your Platano friend.
