17-year community study of 707 people in upstate New York (91% white)
Correlated with time spent watching TV at age 14 and aggressive behavior at age 16 and 22:
Childhood neglect, unsafe neighborhood, low family income, low parental education, psychiatric disorders
TV viewing at age 14 predicted future aggressive acts even when statistically controlling for the above factors
