Business-y careers for STEM grad students and early-career professionals

This in-person event is co-hosted and -run by WEST (https://www.westorg.org), BU GWISE (https://www.bu.edu/gwise/), and the GMS Professional Development office (https://www.bumc.bu.edu/gms/students/professional-development/).

Purpose of the event: STEM graduates' knowledge and skills are applicable in a wide range of job functions besides research, engineering, or tech. Come and meet Women in STEM across career stages, who are working in business-oriented roles. They support the development and commercialization of new products, including life-saving treatments, bring innovative startups to life, or provide creative solutions to various businesses through consulting!

Schedule:

6:00-6:10 pm: Registration, food, welcome

6:10-7:15 pm: attendees will rotate from a panelist to another (three 20-min rotations); Let us know in the registration form who you would like to speak with the most so we assign you to the tables of your choosing and manage table groups properly;

7:15-7:30 pm: Free mix and mingle! You can use this time to connect further with panelists and fellow attendees.
