Postdoc Orientation

Postdoctoral Affairs offers a virtual orientation session every month for new postdocs. Join us to learn more about our partners across the university, professional and career development opportunities, Individual Development Plan requirements for BU postdocs, and get your questions answered!

Select a date from the choices below.  After registering you should receive a confirmation email that a link to the Zoom meeting we will use for each month’s Orientation session.

Beginning in July 2026, you can register for all monthly Postdoc Orientations using one link: https://bostonu.zoom.us/meeting/register/GZ4YOmVkQuGRDQmGttuhAw.

You will select the session that works best for you during registration via Zoom. You will have the option to download a calendar item as part of the registration process via Zoom. Registrations beginning in July 2026 will take place on the Second Monday of each month at 3:00pm ET. If the Second Monday is a holiday, Postdoc Orientation will be the Third Monday of the month for that month.
