MFA Candidate
Gabrielle Franklin is a Texan playwright whose work playfully explores the surreal and fantastic, metamorphosis, and how we pursue understanding in this strange world without easy answers. Gabby’s previous plays, My Boss is the Dinosaur! and Pandora, were winners of the Rice Player’s Playfest in 2022 and 2023 and were produced in Houston, Texas. She also has work published in Third Coast Magazine. Gabby is excited to be currently pursuing an MFA in Playwriting at Boston University and holds two bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and English from Rice University.
