St. Leonard's Hospital, York, was one of the greatest hospitals in England. |
Editors: To a writ of trespass ordered out of Parliament against the sequestrator of the diocese of York, the defendant pleaded that the writ was irregular in form, and that the acts alleged were not trespasses because they were done in pursuance of an order made by the Archbishop that the defendant should be fined for a violation of the sequestration and other misdeeds.
Headnote: Trespass which came out of Parliament where the party asked judgment of the writ which was contradictory and inconsistent in itself.
