Description

Boston University School of Education hosts a lecture by Noam Chomsky, Institute Professor and Professor of Linguistics (Emeritus) at MIT. For over 30 years, Professor Chomsky has been a path-breaking linguist and a controversial critic of American policies and politics; Chomsky has received honorary degrees from over 20 world-renowned universities. Co-hosted by The Axis of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the practice of international conflict analysis, management and prevention in public and independent schools worldwide. Using highly interactive workshops, Axis of Hope teaches today’s youth to develop trust, compassion and empathy for one another, thereby changing the landscape of conflict and creating the prospect for future peace.
