The festival presents rarely screened international and US documentaries from talented filmmakers all over the world, who submit their view of problems and issues in their countries and communities. The theme "Faces of Hope and Courage: Connecting with Humanity" is all encompassing of the range of topics being addressed: dehumanization, environment, forgiveness, freedom, health, hope, human rights, justice, non-violent resistance, media, peace, self-discovery, terrorism and women's rights. Films to be screened include:
