Junior Scholar Symposium

Description

The Department of Sociology at Boston University invites papers on the topic of race in global perspective. Presentations will be part of a day-long junior scholar symposium showcasing the work of emerging scholars (recent graduates, ABD, postdoctoral fellows or visiting assistant professors). Boston University’s Emerging Scholars Program is intended for people from racial or ethnic groups historically excluded from the academy, including African Americans, Alaska Natives, Arab Americans, Southeast Asians and Asian Americans, Latinx, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders.
