In this lecture, co-sponsored by the Boston University College of General Studies (CGS), historian Jill Lepore will join us to present her talk entitled "Before Facebook: Algorithms in the Archives." Dr. Lepore is the author of These Truths: A History of the United States and This America: The Case of a Nation. The talk will begin at 6PM in the Metcalf Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Ave, followed by a reception and book signing. Doors open at 5:30PM.
