Mark Greer
Mark is originally from Pennsylvania but now teaches in Dorchester, Boston. He teaches 7th and 8th Grade Science/Special Education at Dr. William Henderson K-12 Full Inclusion School. Mark’s favorite part about teaching is seeing his students find joy in learning, “it is usually after they overcome challenges that the learning is the most fulfilling”.
Over the summer, Mark worked with James Bird (PI), Jack Verich (REU), and Garam Lee (graduate student mentor) in the Fluid Lab. Their project researched Particle Deposition Patterns in Complex Fluids. Mark describes the hands-on lab work as being “intellectually challenging, but not so fast-paced that you can’t enjoy it.”
