Dr. Thomas Bifano directs the Bifano Lab and the Boston University Photonics Center. His research focuses on modeling, design, production, and use of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) in optical instruments and photonic devices. He also works on biomedical imaging applications and microscopy.
