Scott Bunch

Associate Professor (ME, MSE)

Dr. Bunch’s research efforts focus on the nano-mechanical properties of a new class of 2D, atomically thin materials such as graphene – single atomic layers of graphite, and their remarkable mechanical properties such as high strength, extreme flexibility, and unprecedented barrier properties. In researching these topics, Dr. Bunch then plans to fabricate and characterize nano-mechanical devices.
