The Yang Research Laboratory’s research programs are currently focused on nanomaterial-based neural interfaces. Specifically, the lab is developing nanomaterial-based photonics and electronics for neuromodulation and live cell sensing. The lab is highly interdisciplinary and uses ideas and techniques from physical, chemical, biological, and engineering sciences.
