Alisa Lee

Born in Lowell, MA, Alisa moved to Vietnam until she was 7, returning to Massachusetts for school. After struggling with her Asian-American identity throughout middle and high school, she eventually found a community during her undergraduate career at College of Holy Cross. This later inspired her to work in education with students of a similar upbringing.

This summer, Alisa worked in the White Lab with Alice White and Oliver McRae studying the fluid dynamics through cylindrical constriction devices designed to model hemolysis. The team used computational fluid dynamics (COMSOL) to model the flow within a constriction device, with the ultimate goal of accurately modeling hemolysis in fluid flows.
