central dilemma in American
culture.
A better use of this space may
be a simple reminder: The men
(relax, P.c. police) who founded
t his country, who penned the
Declaration of Independence, t he
Congress
debates
affirmative action
They
believed
that ideas, and a
belief in ideas, would be the glue
that would hold the republic
together.
For a century, Adelphi has
instilled in its graduates a know–
ledge of ideas and their power. The
theme of Adelphi 's Centennial year
is, in fact, a debate about the future
