As
Stanley did not lay
claim
to any possessions,
his
moving out was
actually a euphemism for not coming home.
At last reports, Stanley was still a bachelor, roaming through
the night and entertaining many people with the wit and flash of
his
conversation. Everyone he meets is taken with his genius, though
as time goes on there seems to be more and more uncertainty as to
just where his talents lie.
Women continue to be drawn to Stanley, but they
still
do not
understand it.
As
one girl, a young painter who met
him
recently at a
party, said,
"If
he's not a genius, then we're
all
bankrupt."
