Reason, from whose glutinous
arms I never completely stray, tells
me, of course, that these people at

heard of the grant and wouldn't
be aware, nor care, that I had re–

have just awarded myself what is
to me a fortune, and the honor of
receiving it, I extend benevolently
the singular beauty which would
embellish it.
The blank destroys all these il–

It
is businesslike. A witness–

could! one could!), but demands
a simple "yes" or "no" to the most
complex and incriminating ques–

any part of the creative process.
One feels, reading it, the intoler–

What has one published?
Where?
Will all of these answers preju–
