About
Boston Photonics Day is an annual event for Greater Boston Area optics & photonics talents, organized by the Boston University SPIE/OPTICA student chapter with the support of the Boston University Photonics Center. This unique occasion brings together professionals, researchers, and students from the photonics community, creating a vibrant hybrid of social and networking opportunities. The event is designed to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of cutting-edge advancements in the field of photonics. It serves as a platform for attendees to engage in insightful discussions, build connections, and gain valuable industry insights.
The event will be a whole day event with alumni seminars, a panel discussion, an optics fair, and a poster session.
Location
The conference will be held in person at Boston University on the 9th floor and 7th floor of the Photonics Center at 8 St Mary St, Boston, MA, USA starting at 8:30 am and end by 6:30 pm on Wednesday October 4, 2023.

Registration
Registration will open on August 1, 2023.
Submissions
The conference will have poster sessions for participants to present their research. The poster submission deadline is Sep 20th, 6pm Eastern Time.
The best poster will be featured with mysterious prizes.
