Experience in MSSP:

My experience in the MSSP program was a little different. Due to COVID, most of my peers were in their home countries and unable to attend in-person classes. Although it was initially a struggle, I quickly learned how to best work with people and learn among my peers remotely. Now, I utilize this skill daily with clients and colleagues. 

Current Role:

Now, I work as a Project Manager for the OneStream Practice at The Hackett Group. I joined as a Consultant where I was supporting the project manager for a few AWS implementation projects. After less than a year, I was promoted to Project Manager of a major client where I was able to travel and meet my colleagues and clients in person. I was able to climb the ladder so quickly because of the valuable statistical and soft skills I have learned in the MSSP program.

Advice to Current Students:

During my time in the MSSP program, not only did I learn versatile statistical knowledge, but I became fluent in my ability to adapt to the environment, people, and situation. I also participated in the Data Science Mentoring Circles group where I met incredibly smart professionals that helped me take my first step into the workforce: resume updating, job applications, networking, and more.
