Scheduling

Before using a meeting space at MET, employees should book the room for the time they will need. At MET, this can be done in a number of ways:

  • Reach out to departmental administrators who can use the Robin Booking System
  • Review the room availability and request the room using our request form
  • Create same day appointments from the iPads outside the meeting space

Support Policy

MET IT is responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing and scheduling meetings sent through the request form
  • Consulting with requestors on their meeting needs
  • Providing access to employees for the Robin Booking System

Meetings and Events may be scheduled during the following hours of operation:

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Closed Saturday, Sunday, holidays, intersessions, and campus closures
Important Considerations
  1. Students (including TAs, GAs, Student Workers, etc.) are not allowed to make reservations.
  2. Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee use of the room. You will be notified of the approval or asked to provide additional information.
  3. All requests will be reviewed by the appropriate departments before approval is given.
  4. Requests are reviewed during normal business hours, with a response expected in 1-3 hours.
  5. Requests received outside of business hours will be reviewed and responded to within 1-3 hours of the following business day.
Lead Times

To ensure our team is available and ready to support you, please put in your request with enough lead time:

  • Simple Support (e.g.-assistance with initial setup): Provide at least 3 days of lead time
  • Complex Support (e.g.-hands-on assistance for entire event): Provide at least 3 to 4 weeks of lead time

Resources
