MET 101 Teaching Studio

The MET 101 Teaching Studio is a large capacity meeting room designed primarily for lectures. It doubles as a meeting and event space when a large number of in-person attendees are expected.

The room includes the following equipment:

  • One Samsung TV/Display Screen
  • One Panasonic Interactive Display
  • AirMedia and HDMI Connections for in-room displays
  • Two Panasonic Web Cameras
  • Two Ceiling Microphones & Speakers

Support Policy

MET IT is responsible for the following:

  • Providing general setup and support for classes on the following schedule:
    • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
    • Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Provide special support for the room upon request
  • Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Occupancy Limit
  • Standard Classroom Setup: 48 People
  • Chairs Only: 65 People
Classroom Support

MET IT Technicians will prepare the room for the instructor based on the class needs. This can include:

  • Turning on the AV system
  • Setting up the Zoom Live Classroom for recording
  • Configuring display sources to instructor’s needs

MET IT Technicians are available to address issues that occur during the class when requested.

Meeting & Event Support

Clients must request the use of the room prior to the meeting or event.

To ensure our team is available and ready to support you, please put in your request with enough lead time:

  • Simple Support (e.g.-assistance with initial setup): Provide at least 3 days of lead time
  • Complex Support (e.g.-hands-on assistance for entire event): Provide at least 3 to 4 weeks of lead time

NOTE: Requests that may impact the class schedule will require MET Dean’s Office review and approval before being confirmed on the calendar.


Resources
