Citrix Workspace
MET students and faculty looking to access the Virtual Labs or the Remote Apps will use the Citrix Workspace application to connect to these services. This application can be used via your desktop (recommended) or through your web browser.

MET IT is responsible for the following:
- Installation of software on BU-provisioned machines
- Troubleshooting login and connection issues

- Citrix Workspace via Desktop (Recommended)

- Install the Citrix Workspace App from the appropriate links in the Resource section.
- Open the App and select “Add Account”.
- Enter metvlab.cloud.com in the dialog box, then click Continue.
- Set up your two-factor authentication (2FA), which is separate from the 2FA used for other BU resources.
- Login with your BU email (include @bu.edu), BU password, and the 2FA token you created in Step 4.
- Citrix Workspace via Web Browser

- In any web browser, go to metvlab.cloud.com.
- Set up your two-factor authentication (2FA), which is separate from the 2FA used for other BU resources.
- Login with your BU email (include @bu.edu), BU password, and the 2FA token you created in Step 2.
- If prompted to select on how you would like to proceed, click on Use Web Browser.
Once you have logged in, you should be able to view all services you have been granted access to.
- Open VLab: Click on MET-VLAB to access the Virtual Lab.
- Course-Specific VLabs: Click on <CourseNumber>-VLAB to access the specialized Virtual Lab, where <CourseNumber> is your course number.
- Remote Apps: Click on Remote App you have been granted access to.
