Save Files in Remote Apps

To save your files from the Remote App to your own machine you must follow these steps:

1) Click on the Save function from your remote application, and then browse the filesystem

2) Select “This PC” and then select the Local Disk that has the name of your personal computer

• In this example, the computer used for the screenshot has name “MET-IT-1” (your screen will have another name, the name of your computer)
• (Be sure to use the Local Disk with your computer name on it to save files, otherwise your files might be lost after you close the application.)

3) This Local Disk shows the files in your personal computer, navigate to a location in your computer where you would like to save the file:

• In this case, I navigated to the C:/Users/metit/Desktop in my computer, but you can save it anywhere in your computer that works for you.

4) Enter a name for your file, then click Save.

The file is now saved to your personal computer.
