MyCPE

MyCPE is the Student Information System (SIS) used by the Center for Professional Education (CPE). This system supports all functions related to student data, registration, course information, financials, instructor information, scheduling, and reporting.

Support Policy

MET IT is responsible for the following:

  • Correcting system errors
  • Creating and distributing system reports
  • Maintaining system infrastructure

CPE students with MyCPE issues should notify CPE directly at (617) 353-4497 or cpe@bu.edu for assistance.

CPE faculty and staff with MyCPE issues should contact us for assistance.

CPE faculty, staff, and students with issues related to Blackboard should refer to our website page for information and support.

Instructors will be able to perform the following operations from within MyCPE:

  • Update personal information
  • Review your teaching schedule
  • See class information
  • Grade students
  • Communicate with students

System Overview – Staff View

Staff will be able to perform the following operations from within MyCPE:

  • Create courses
  • Enter enrollments
  • Manage instructor contracts
  • Track finances

When attending courses with CPE, students are granted access to MyCPE and Blackboard. These two platforms have different functionality and should be used according to their given purpose.

MyCPE

MyCPE is your administrative portal that allows you to do the following:

  • Enroll in classes
  • Make payments
  • Print receipts
  • View and print grades
  • Print transcripts
Blackboard

Blackboard is your digital learning environment and allows you to do the following:

  • Access course material
  • Submit assignments
  • Take exams
  • Post in discussion boards

Troubleshooting

Student Issue – I can’t see my final grades in Blackboard

Starting on the last day of class, all course grades are moved from Blackboard to the MyCPE “Completed” tab.

Student Issue – I can’t access Blackboard for a course I completed

Access to courses in Blackboard is removed after completion.
