My research is focused on women’s health, with an emphasis on studying tubal factor infertility. I am developing a fallopian tube-on-a-chip to study the impact of menstrual cycle hormones on inflammatory response of fallopian tube cells to better understand how fallopian tubes become damaged. From this research we hope to determine if there is a way to prevent or repair damaged tubal tissue that leads to infertility.
