I am currently exploring adaptions of dopamine neurons to cope with high oxidative stress levels. I am particularly interested in the functional role on neuromelanin (NM) and the organelles that sequester it. To model this in vitro, I am differentiating iPSCs both in 2D and 3D to generate mature dopaminergic neurons.
