Steve Marois (CAS’11, Wheelock’11, GRS’14) works as Director of Faculty Actions in the Office of the Provost. In this role, Steve oversees the appointment, reappointment, and promotion review processes for full-time Charles River Campus faculty, manages all central elements of the faculty recruitment process, and collects data to support resource allocation, diversity initiatives, and internal and external reporting. Originally from Woonsocket, RI, he moved to Boston in 2007 to attend Boston University, where he earned his B.A. in English, B.S. in English Education, and M.A. in English. Steve also serves as a student group advisor to BU Stage Troupe, the University’s oldest and largest extracurricular performing arts group for undergraduate students not majoring in theatre.
