I was interested in The Artemis Project because I want to learn how technology is advancing our society today and what it can do to further improve our world in the future. At the Artemis Project, I would like to learn how AI and coding can help understand the brain. After looking through previous work done by students at Artemis, I was intrigued mostly by how AI can help improve neurological disorders. Personally, for me, this is very close to my heart. I volunteer for an organization that helps teach music to kids with special needs. While working with this group of individuals, I observed that music acts as a method of relaxation to them. Knowing that it is a calming source for these kids, I want to develop ways in which music can help as a therapeutic cause to the brain. I believe that at the Artemis Project, I will be able to discover more ways to see how music can be incorporated into AI and coding.
I am interested in coding because I want to learn how coding and AI are related. I am curious to learn how improvements in coding can further develop AI, specifically in the medical field. Through the Artemis Project, I can learn through more experiential projects rather than classroom style.
