The Colosseum!

Located in the center of Rome, lies the Colosseum. This Colosseum is the largest amphitheater ever built.

It can hold between 50,000 to 80,000 people. This was to used for gladiator fight, animal showings, theater performances, and religious ceremonies back them. Go to the Colosseum to stand where the gladiators once stood, and go through the underground tunnels and even see where the exotic animals were once kept through a tour!

Although it is worldly famous, not many know about it's history. It was built as the end point for a channel that gave freshwater to Roman's bathhouses. Legends say that is you throw a coin into the fountain, you are sure to come back to Rome!
