• Establish a central repository for proposal and award data elements for Research Administration shared across both campuses.
• Facilitate data sharing, integrations, and electronic interfaces to and from SAP
• Provide reports for the research community members via the SAP Business Warehouse

Future Project Activities

• Provide the capability for researchers to develop and electronically route grant proposals
• Provide a vehicle for a version control process to manage updating and approving research proposals electronically
• Support electronic submission to federal agencies (through Grants.gov) when value is added
• Decrease time required for administrative portions of proposal development
• Enable Principal Investigators, Department Administrators and OSP to work on the same proposal concurrently
• Enable Principal Investigators, Department Administrators and OSP to access the system and obtain current status of a proposal both on and offsite
