Mohammadamin Hajikhodaverdian
Graduate Student Summer Fellow, IGS; Electrical & Computer Engineering, College of Engineering
Mohammadamin Hajikhodaverdian, a 2025 Graduate Summer Fellow at the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is researching energy-efficient dataflows that utilize vertical interconnects in 3D-designed chips (Monolithic 3D) to accelerate Transformer models due to their vast application in AI systems. His focus will be on energy efficiency, thermal-aware, and fast implementation.
His faculty adivsor is Ayse Coskun (Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering, College of Engineering and Core Faculty, IGS) and his project is titled “Energy Efficient Monolithic 3D Transformer Accelerator.”
